General & Prerequisites
Is there a minimum iRating or skill level required to book a session?
No! We offer coaching for most iRating levels, anywhere from rookies to seasoned racers! If you are under 1200 iRating, we recommend you choose beginner coaching. Otherwise, you can select your iRating range in the booking process.
What is different about the beginner coaching?
Beginner coaching is only for drivers under 1200 iRating, and takes place on any base content car and track. It is meant to help beginners or inexperienced players get up to speed with the game by learning the basics.
What equipment and software do I need?
All you need is iRacing, and a wheel and pedals setup.
Do I need to have telemetry software installed?
You do not need telemetry, but it can be helpful to get a couple extra tenths out of your driving!
What telemetry software do you recommend?
Garage61, Cosworth Pi Toolbox, and Motec can all be good options depending on how in-depth you want to get.
The Session Process
Do I have to be in the discord server?
Yes, you will need to be in the discord server to participate in your session. You can find that server here – iCoaching Discord
How is the coaching session conducted?
Your coach and you will meet in our discord, and conduct your coaching session in one of our private voice channels. Once you have your order confirmation, just submit it in a ticket on our discord, and one of our coaches will reach out to you!
Can I choose any car and track combination?
You will select your car/car class first, then you will choose from the tracks that we offer for that car or class. We offer tracks that were used on the official schedule last season, this season, or next season. If you would like a custom track that we do not offer, please contact us and we may be able to set something up for you.
How should I prepare for my session?
No need for any major preparation, but it is best to get your warm up done before your session starts!
What setup will be used for the session?
There are three options for setup. Default will be using the fixed setup provided by iRacing. Alternatively, you can either provide a setup for your session that both you and the coach will use, or if you purchase a setup from us you can use that and our coach will help you tune it to fit your driving style if any adjustments are needed.
Scheduling & Policies
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Rescheduling is easy, and can be done in your discord ticket with our coach. Just let them know and they can make accommodations. If you need to cancel, you can either submit the contact form on our website, or do it though a ticket in our discord. Make sure to give us your order number! Refunds must be claimed within 30 days of cancellation or abandonment.
What if I don’t show up for my scheduled session?
Any missed or unclaimed sessions will be given 30 days to be scheduled and if not, they will be considered abandoned. Refunds will not be issued without request.
Do you guarantee I will win my next race?
Unfortunately we cannot make any guarantees as there are too many variables.
